To make sure that there is something for every connoisseur, 10 possibilities are presented here to have breakfast in beautiful Graz.
Kristina’s master pastry shop
With its ancient charm, the building has attracted numerous guests since 1881. Recently a new café has opened there, which makes as many guests happy. The cake and pastry shop sells mainly cakes and tarts, but from Wednesday to Sunday you can also enjoy a leisurely breakfast there until 11:30 am.
The offer is manageable, but the quality is even better. The bread is baked in a regional bakery and the meat and eggs come from organic farmers. Sweet dishes like yoghurt, granola and fruit are also served here.

And why should you have breakfast in the Martin-Auer-Bakery?
Here, one has the possibility to have breakfast almost the whole day, which is very practical for the early risers on one hand and for the late risers on the other hand. Every day, the breakfast is offered until 3 p.m.; in the week from 6 a.m. and in the week-ends from 7 a.m.
There is also something for every taste. The offer ranges from the classic breakfast with a bread roll, butter and various cold cuts to Italian variations with olives, mozzarella and prosciutto and the sweet breakfast with jam and honey. Gourmets will also find something for their taste buds. For example, there are breakfast offers with salmon, hummus and avocado.

The Gapsite-Café
The café is located at Schörgelgasse 15 in Graz. And when can you have breakfast there? Every day from 7 to 12 o’clock – even on holidays! Here you can choose between five different types of breakfast. Also for those who have to go a little faster, there is something for everyone. There is a small breakfast consisting of a croissant and a cappuccino. But also for guests with a bigger appetite there are delicious offers with many different toppings.
Omas teapot
As the name suggests, this is a small, cosy café with furniture from the 50s and 60s. Breakfast is served here every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a brunch is served on the first Saturday of each month. Classic breakfast with sausage, cheese, jam and honey can be enjoyed in grandma’s teapot. Vegetable sticks and cooking eggs are also on the menu.

How could it be more imperial?
In the Café Kaiserfeld, which is located in the Kaiserfeldgasse in the heart of Graz, you can have breakfast during the week from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and on Saturday even until 12 noon. The classic breakfast variations are also available here, but the menu is supplemented by, for example, the Italian breakfast. Café Kaiserfeld also offers freshly squeezed orange juice.
Breakfast at Purberg
Just outside the city centre in a suburb of Graz there is a nice café: Das Purberg in Hilmteichstraße 70. The Café of Artists
The opera café is located at Opernring 22. There is a pleasant, inspiring climate in the beautiful winter garden, where you can take a seat. Many artists, poets and thinkers have sat here in the past century.

In Café Weitzer you can enjoy your breakfast even when others are already thinking about dinner. During the week there is the possibility from 7 to 19 o’clock and on weekends and holidays from 8 to 19 o’clock.
The offers are varied. There are six different types of breakfast with various types of bread and rolls. For those who prefer it sweet for breakfast or brunch, there is a polenta porridge – refined with cinnamon and sugar. Cocoa, coffee and water are served with the delicious breakfast.
